HOUSEPARENTS

We are looking for a married couple, preferably with no more than one child, to live in a group home with five youth (co-ed). Applicants will need high energy levels, strong communication and leadership skills, a cool approach to problem solving, reliability, flexibility, dedication and the ability to integrate training into effective professional child and youth care practice. A bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in residential care preferred. We offer a competitive wage, health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance, and paid vacation and 401K after one year. This is a live-in position; family vacations and weekly recreation is a must. Relief will assist during scheduled time off. The youth in this program will have an emotional and/or mental health diagnosis, some within the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We want people who empower others and encourage independence.

YOUTH MANAGEMENT STAFF

This position requires strong, confident staff who have the capacity to physically manage youth who are experiencing an emotional crisis, are assaultive and/or being destructive. You must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and use mature judgement during a management crisis, you will need leadership skills, milieu management skills, high energy levels, self discipline, providing a very cool approach to a volatile situation, reliability, flexibility, and dedication. We also require a bachelor's degree in a related field.
